At Energize Social Adult Day Care, we provide a comprehensive range of services designed to support health, independence, and quality of life. All services are delivered in accordance with HCBS Final Rule Waiver standards and are regularly updated to meet New York State DOH, NYSOFA, and OMIG regulations.
Health, Nutrition & Wellness
- Nutritious hot meals and snacks planned and approved by a Registered Dietitian (with accommodations for cultural, medical, and dietary needs).
- Health and nutrition education workshops promoting lifelong wellness.
- Medication reminders to support self-management of health.
- Supervision and monitoring to ensure participant safety and well-being.
Personal Care & Daily Living Support
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Alzheimer’s and dementia care supports, with trained staff in person-centered approaches.
- Adaptive/assistive device support to help participants maintain independence.
Activities & Engagement
- Light exercise and movement programs including sitting yoga, stretching, and Zumba.
- Recreational and creative activities such as arts & crafts, crochet, painting, and DIY kits.
- Cognitive and mental stimulation activities including memory games, puzzles, and discussion groups.
- Music and cultural programs to foster joy and connection.
- Computer and language classes to build skills and confidence.
- Parties, celebrations, and special events throughout the year.
- Community integration activities including trips and outings, in line with HCBS Final Rule requirements.
Additional Supports
- Social work services to connect participants and families with community resources.
- ADA-compliant, door-to-door transportation ensuring safe access to and from the Center.
- Family caregiver support
- Spa and personal grooming services (optional).
